Meet the team
Amanda Wren
Director
Amanda Wren is a Chartered Accountant and the founder of Wren Accounting & Advisory. After 14 years working with business large and small, NGOs and Indigenous corporations, Amanda established 'Wren Accounting' in 2018 and Demetrios Christou became a Partner of the Firm in 2021 forming 'Wren Christou'.
Wren Christou was born out of Amanda’s desire to work closely with businesses to establish long and trusted relationships and deliver great results. Along with providing a full suite of accounting services, Amanda is a firm believer in improving efficiency and client knowledge to help take the stress out of managing your finances.
When she’s not running Wren Christou, Amanda is wrangling her three children (including twins) and getting away camping whenever she can.
Demetrios Christou
Director
Demetrios – or Demo as we call him – is our Director and not your typical accountant. He’s a CPA with public practice and international private finance experience but he’s also a born and bred Territorian so he’s down to earth and always up for a chat. Demo joined Wren Accounting as a Client Manager and progressed to becoming a Partner of the Firm alongside Amanda forming Wren Christou in 2021.
Demo grew up watching his Mum and Dad run a small business in the food industry here in Darwin so he knows business better than most. He speaks fluent Greek and is a keen volunteer in the community.
Demo also enjoys fishing, the great outdoors and spending time with his daughter and son.
